Common questions

How do I add records? Search for an album in Dig, open it, and tap Add to Crate. Choose your pressing if you know it. You can also scan a barcode, or import from Discogs in Settings → Discogs.

Why doesn't my exact pressing show up? Pressing details come from Discogs and are refreshed regularly. If a pressing is missing or still loading, open the album again later, or email us the album name and catalog number.

What is "Scan your copy"? It lets you photograph the front of a record you own so your crate shows your actual jacket. Waxwall checks the photo for unsafe content with OpenAI's moderation service and may share it as a community jacket. You can delete it in Settings → My jacket photos. Only photos taken with the camera are accepted.

How do I report someone or something?

We review every report within 24 hours. For anything urgent, email support@waxwall.app with "Urgent" in the subject.

How do I block someone? Use the same ⋯ menus. To see or undo blocks, go to Settings → Privacy & safety → Blocked accounts.

How do I disconnect Discogs? Settings → Discogs → Manage Discogs connection. To revoke access on Discogs' side too, open Discogs → Settings → Applications.

How do I delete my account? Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, crate, posts, comments, photos and Discogs connection. See the Privacy Policy for details.

I forgot my password. On the sign-in screen, tap "Forgot password?" and follow the email link.
